Students living on Fort Rucker will attend school on Fort Rucker at the Fort Rucker Primary and Elementary Schools for grades pre-kindergarten through the sixth grade. Beginning in the seventh grade students may attend Daleville, Enterprise or Ozark City Schools. All three school systems provide bus transportation from all housing areas on post. The choice is up to each student's family.

Our School Liaison Officer
(SLO) is available to act as a liaison between parents and schools upon request to help resolve issues related to the education of children and youth. Information is also available on the topics of Troops to Teachers, local schools, scholarships, and home schooling. Support is provided to the School and Education Transition Support (SETS) signatories and Local Action Committee in maintenance of the Wiregrass/Fort Rucker Local Action Plan.
