Swimming Area Hours
The swimming area is open from Memorial Day weekend (28
May 2011) through Labor Day
(5 September 2011). Swimming area is open Wednesday - Sunday from 10:00
a.m. until 6:00 p.m. August 20-5 September the swimming area will remain open for weekends
only.
There is a fee to swim:
Ages 2-12 years: $1.50
Ages 13-17 years: $2.25
Ages 18 years and older: $3.00
Annual swim passes are also available.
West Beach Snack Bar Hours
The snack-bar is open the hours of 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday - Friday and Sat & Sun
12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. August 20-5 September the swimming area will
remain open for weekends only.
Driving Directions to West Beach, Lake Tholocco
From Daleville Entrance Gate:
1) Once through the gate, continue straight on 3rd Ave.
2) 3rd Ave will merge with Andrews Ave.
3) Once merged, turn left at yellow flashing traffic light onto Christian Rd.
4) Continue straight through second yellow flashing traffic light.
5) Turn right onto Johnston Rd. (There will be a large green sign: West Beach Recreation Area).
6) Continue straight on the paved portion of Johnston Rd.
7) Outdoor Recreation will be located on the right approx. one mile.
From Enterprise Entrance Gate:
1) Once through gate, take first left onto Lowe Field Rd.
2) Take second right onto Traffic Minder Rd.
3) At stop sign, turn right onto Christian Rd.
4) Turn left onto Johnston Rd. (There will be a large green sign: West Beach Recreation Area.)
5) Continue straight on the paved portion of Johnston Rd.
6) Outdoor Recreation will be located on the right approx. one mile.
From Ozark Entrance Gate:
1) Once through gate, take first right onto Whittaker Rd.
2) At flashing yellow traffic light, turn right onto Christian Rd.
3) Turn right onto Johnston Rd. (There will be a large green sign: West Beach Recreation Area.)
4) Continue straight on paved portion of Johnston Rd.
5) Outdoor Recreation will be located on the right approx. one mile. |
