Character Dining in The Zone
Bring your kids to the Landing Zone, Tuesday nights beginning April 13th for Character Dining in The Zone from 4-8p.m. Favorite characters from TV and Film will be serving you and your children every Tuesday for kids of all ages. Kids 12 and under eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée (limit 2 per adult). There will be balloons and free face painting for children. August 10th
Fort Rucker Job Fair
The 7th annual Fort Rucker Job Fair will be held August 10th from 9am – 1:30pm at The Landing. This event is co-sponsored by Army Community Service Employment Readiness Program, and the Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP). Over 75 businesses will attend. Job Seekers will meet representatives from a diverse blend of local businesses, government contractors and federal agencies. Applicants should bring at least 25 copies of their resume and be dressed ready to interview. There is no fee to attend. Don’t miss the largest employment event in the Wiregrass – the Fort Rucker Job Fair. For more information call the ACS Employment Readiness Manager at 255-3949.

U.S. Army Festival of the Arts Competition Talent Show Auditions
Come show us your talent at the U.S. Army Festival of the Arts Competition Talent Show. Auditions will be from 6-8pm at the Landing Ballroom. Rockin' Rucker's Talent is an entry for the 2010 U.S. Army Festival of the Arts Competition presented by FMWRC. It is free to enter and registration can be completed online at www.ftruckermwr.com. There are 12 different categories in the competition: Vocal Soloist, Vocal Duet, Vocal Group, Rap, Dance Individual, Dance Group, Comedian, Instrumental Soloist, Instrumental Group, Vocal & Instrumental Soloist, Vocal & Instrumental Group, and Other. Patrons have the opportunity to audition in front of established judges to advance to the final round. Final Round participants will compete for cash prizes at Lake Party Luau on August 21st from 6-7pm. For more information, contact FMWRDS at (334) 255-9810.

Little Sun Dress Party
Come on out to Little Sun Dress Party, July 24th from 8p.m.-12a.m. at the Landing Zone. We will have Specialty Drinks, a Complimentary Dessert Bar, an opened Tiki Bay, and live entertainment by Wiser Than Fools. Door prizes will also be given away! There will be no charge for Ladies and a $5.00 cover for Gentlemen. Please drink responsibly. The Landing Zone Courtesy Van offers a free ride home to patrons that live on post. August 27th
Birthday Bash
Let’s bring Summer to a close as we celebrate the Landing Zone’s Birthday Bash August 27th at the Landing Zone. Splash Park will be open from 7pm to 9pm for adult swimming (must be at least 18 years of age). Live music by DJ Dave on the patio starts at 8pm. Wear your pool party outfit and be entered into a special door prize drawing. Come join us in some Hula-hooping, Limbo, Corn Hole, and Sand Volleyball. Enter the Hottest Legs contest for both men and women. Win a $100.00 CASH PRIZE in each category. Tropical drink specials will be available all night!
